SLICK Cosmetics wasn’t created to sell low-quality products online like other brands. The idea for SLICK came from a group of friends, who once upon a time, struggled with bad acne. If you’ve dealt with acne, then you know that most treatments cause dryness, redness, peeling, and more. 

We began stocking up on all types of lip balms, lotions, and moisturizers. Our biggest issue was the more we used them, the less effective they became. Instead of reapplying  twice a day, we began having to reapply them every couple of hours. We knew there was a problem that needed to be fixed.

We talked with many dermatologists and estheticians over the years about our own concerns and realized that many popular cosmetics are packed with artificial chemicals that lead to longterm drying. In other words, they were temporary fixes. We took a step back and picked apart hundreds of ingredients to see what works best. It became a hobby of ours to mix our own balms and serums, refining them until we fixed our own skin problems. 

We began selling our homemade remedies locally at schools and community events but weren’t satisfied and wanted to take things to the next level. We reached out to our dermatologists and estheticians again and had them to try our first products: our lip scrubs and lip masks. After receiving great responses, we teamed up with like-minded suppliers to help us produce products faster and more efficiently while adding in personality and life with our designs, flavors, and scents.

We started with lips since smiles are the first things people notice about you and we want everyone to feel confident about their’s. We are constantly growing and working on various new products to help bring the gift of natural beauty to your doorstep.
